Received grants from Australian government comprising ($60,000 in 1996) for 6 sets of public waterless sanitation installation and an AAECP (Australia- ASEAN Environmental Cooperation Program) $200,000 grant (in 1998) for municipal solid waste source separated and composting demonstration in Tiền Giang- Việt Nam.
10 years Researched and promoted “New integrated waste management model” and waterless toilets for cost effective and multi social and economic purposes. The model of waste management at source applying micro-biology, suitable physics and chemistry technology- combined with advanced 4.0 technology (IoT, Robot, Big Data), to achieve the overall low cost and positive change of people behavior while protecting the environment. The model also offers solutions for rural development (sustainable aquaculture and agricultural with clean and quality food thus better income) and Clean-Green cities with reduced CO2 emissions and negatively impacts on climate change. Integrating environmental protection infrastructure projects with opportunities for Education and Training and entrepreneurial start-ups from innovative science and technology developments is the strategy to solve development problems that always contain challenges such as air, water and land resources protection and ecological environment and social equality.
