Prof. Tran Xuan Bach is a senior lecturer at Hanoi Medical University and a renowned researcher in preventive medicine and public health. 

Achieving the title of Associate Professor and Professor at the age of 32 and 39, respectively, Professor, PhD. Tran Xuan Bach is recognized as the youngest Professor in Vietnam. At the age of 35, he was appointed as an Adjunct Professor at Johns Hopkins University, becoming the first researcher worldwide to hold such a position. In 2022 and 2023, Clarivate acknowledged him as one of the nearly 7,000 most influential scientists globally in terms of citations. He graduated with distinction from the Ph.D. program at the University of Alberta, Canada, in 2011, and completed post-doctoral programs at Johns Hopkins University, USA, and earned his Habilitation (HDR) at Aix-Marseille University, France. 

In 2023, Professor, Tran Xuan Bach received the Outstanding Research Award from ISPOR, the world's largest research association on health economics and outcomes research. In the same year, Research.com recognized him as the 2nd-ranked "rising star" in global science. In 2022, he was awarded the APEC Research Award. Currently, Professor, Tran Xuan Bach is actively involved in teaching, guiding research students, and advising international organizations and research networks on various health-related issues, including Health Economics, Health Policy, Health Systems, Disease Control and Global Health, and eHealth.
