Phi Truong founded Business Startup Support Center in 2010, to provide financial support, trainings, and accelerator programmes for startups and young entrepreneurs in Vietnam. Under Phi’s leadership and management, BSSC has grown from a small incubator with few activities to one of the top accelerators in Southeast Asia. Phi has clearly defined BSSC’s activities into 6 key areas, namely: i) financial support and fundings; ii) accelerator programme; iii) training; iv) startup competition and events; v) business matching; vi) international partnerships. Each area is managed by a team leader who reports directly to Phi. BSSC also has an admin and accounting team which supports all other teams. With more than 8 years of building and growing the startup ecosystem, Phi’s expertise and knowledge are in evaluating innovation products and new business models, in venture investments, and in connecting different resources to support the startup community.
Phi graduated top of her class at the National Academy of Public Policy, Vietnam. She held several management positions at banks, telco companies, and post companies. Phi earned her MBA from the University of Economics, HCMC. Phi currently serves as Vice-President at HCMC Young Business Association (YBA).
