Patricia Barthelemy is The Head of Business Development/ International Leisure Markets, Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau, France.
She joined the Paris Convention and Visitors Bureau in March 1998. With a specialization in Marketing, Communication and Publicity, she handled the Japanese market and other Asian markets such as India, China, Korea, and South-East Asia. In 2010, due to a wide experience, her responsibility was extended to other territories such as the Near & Middle East, Australia and, more recently, Turkey. In January 2012, she was promoted to Marketing Manager for the Marketing Department.
Her mission is to promote the City of Paris to leisure and business operators in the different targeted countries, as well as familiarizing Parisian tourism industry professionals with various foreign cultures in order to personalize and tailor the welcome and hospitality given to visitors according to their nationality. She was the marketing manager for the Japanese and other Asian markets, for six years, at the ‘George V’ Parisian palace hotel — now named the ‘Four Seasons Hotel George V’.
