Duong Chi Kien, Russia

Duong Chi Kien has spent over 30 years building his career and reputation in Saint Petersburg, Russia. He moved to Russia in 1988 to pursue a degree in cinematography. Choosing to remain in Russia afterward, he embarked on a journey of self-learning and entrepreneurship. For 15 years, he has operated a rice trading company and a business specializing in selling furniture and rattan products imported from Malaysia, as well as a seafood importing company from Vietnam for distribution in Russia. As the General Director of the Golden Age Group, which encompasses diverse industries such as restaurants, hotels, tourism, transportation, and garment factories, he oversees a workforce of over 200 employees, half of whom are Vietnamese. In recognition of his positive contributions to fostering international relations and cooperation, he was honored with the Golden Lion Award for international cooperation in 2020 by the Foreign Affairs Committee of Saint Petersburg and received commendation from the Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of Saint Petersburg, Russian Federation, in October 2023.
